The Orange County Health Department’s medical clinic at the Southern Human Services Center in Chapel Hill will re-open on Monday, July 10. The clinic had been closed due to a facilities construction project at the building since November 7.

The county government originally estimated in November that the project would last approximately four months. The project forced the temporary relocation of the health department’s medical clinic to the Whitted Human Services Building on Tryon Street in Hillsborough.

Other services inside the building, including the COVID testing and vaccine clinic, mobile dental clinic and housing department, were not affected by the project and are still running on regular schedules.

The medical clinic will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday and 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Friday. The clinic is closed on Saturday and Sunday.

The Southern Human Services Center is located at 2501 Homestead Road in Chapel Hill.
