CHAPEL HILL – The top-seeded Tar Heels will take on Miami on Thursday at 3 p.m.; Clemson on Friday at 7 p.m.; and NC State on Saturday 7 p.m in the ACC Tournament at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park.
Both UNC and NC State have each won a game of a piece in the Raleigh series before Sunday’s finale was washed out.
Carolina claimed a 2-1 series win over Miami March 15-17 in Chapel Hill before claiming another series win over in Chapel Hill as well.
The Heels are the top overall seed in the tournament for the first time since 1990 and will seek revenge against three teams that knocked off the Heels in the regular season.
UNC has five ACC Tournament titles— the last coming in 2007.
The tournament is set up with two pools of four teams playing a round robin format with the two pool winners advancing to Sunday’s championship game. Pool A consists of North Carolina, NC State, Clemson and Miami. Pool B consists of Florida State, Virginia, Virginia Tech and Georgia Tech.
Games will be televised live on the Regional Sports Network with Sunday’s championship being televised on ESPN2.
