The UNC baseball team got back on track with a win Tuesday night over Davidson.

The Tar Heels lost a series for the first time this season over the weekend, dropping two out of three games against Georgia Tech.

No. 7 UNC fell behind early against the Wildcats at Boshamer Stadium on Tuesday as Davidson jumped out to a 2-0 lead in the first inning.

Davidson held on to that two-run lead until Carolina broke a 14-inning scoreless drought in the fifth inning. That opened the floodgates for the Tar Heels’ offense.

Carolina poured on the offense to the tune of a 10-2 victory over Davidson.

The Tar Heels will hit the road for a big Atlantic Coast Conference matchup over the weekend facing off with No. 4 Miami in Coral Gables.
