President Donald Trump’s Education Secretary Betsy DeVos has been under fire throughout confirmation hearings.
Two Republican Senators announced on Wednesday that they would oppose her confirmation, meaning DeVos may not have enough votes to take over leading the department.
Current UNC System President and former United States Secretary of Education under President George W. Bush Margaret Spellings told CBS This Morning on Wednesday that she had been advising DeVos and has faith she will do the job well, if confirmed.
