Today is Tuesday, February 9, 2016.  A Denver Broncos fan will have a long conversation with his wife, make your Waffle House Valentine’s Day plans, and meet furry kids who know how to pose.

Broncos Fan and His Wife

A Denver Broncos fan is getting a lot of attention for spending thousands on Super Bowl tickets.

Justin Kerrigan told NBC Bay Area that he spent “$21” on a “Broncos Tailgate Package.”

The reporter initially thought he spent $2,100.

Kerrigan clarified by saying he spent $21,000.

“Don’t tell my wife,” Kerrigan said.

Well, for four tickets,” Kerrigan said. “We got the Broncos Tailgate Package, all that jazz.”

Kerrigan added that he spent $9,000 for lodging.

 Valentine’s at Waffle House

Nothing screams romance more than scattered, smothered, covered, chunked, diced, peppered, capped or topped.

Waffle House offers white tablecloths and candlelight for Valentine’s Day. This is the chain’s ninth consecutive year offering a one-night-only chance at smothered hash browns and romance.

And, much like every other restaurant on February 14, Waffle House expects to be packed: “The only way you come is if you make a reservation.”

Apex and Greensboro have participating stores if you’re up for a road trip.
