Hillsborough Gallery of Arts has opened their newest exhibit, Quintessence, featuring botanical paintings by Chris Graebner, abstract metal sculptures by Jason Smith, and scratchboard paintings by Sally Terrell. The opening reception is this Friday as part of Hillsborough’s Last Friday Art Walk and will include music by Adam & John. For more information, click here.

Slowdown this weekend at Ramblerill Farms with their Saturday Slowdown. This weekend is Kids and Families day at the far, including a petting zoo, crafts for kids, local vendors on site selling their goods, and more! Click here for more information.

Pittsboro Gallery of Arts are opening their newest exhibit this Saturday, Decoding Art. You’ll be able to view art of a variety of different mediums. The exhibit will run through June 30th with a reception on June 21st. Click here for more information.

Walk with Pride with your community this weekend! The Chapel Hill Pride Promenade is this Saturday. The walk will begin at Peace & Justice Plaza to 140 West Plaza for a celebration of the LGBTQIA community. There will be local art vendors selling their goods, food trucks, and non-profits on site. SMELT Art Gallery in Pittsboro are holding an opening reception for their newest exhibit, Celebrating Diversity: Proud to be Me. The exhibition celebrates uniqueness and explores individuality in all its forms. For more information, click here.

Come out and enjoy some live music this weekend at Yonder Southern Cocktails and Brew with School of Rock Chapel Hill in a battle of the bands. The House Band has challenged their instructors for an epic battle of musical supremacy.
