Throughout the weekend, Spring Haven Farms will be hosting an Egg Hunt with Goats. Bring the kids for an easter hunt that will be fun and safe for all ages. Each egg is filled with candy, but there’s also an option to trade the candy in for other awesome prizes! Once the kids have finished collecting eggs, the family can go and pet the baby goats and hang out with the other animals Spring Haven Farms takes care of. For more information, click here.

Get a workout in for a great cause this weekend in Pittsboro with the George Moses Horton PTSA Color Run and Walk on Saturday. All are welcome with no previous experience needed, just come and support the George Moses Horton Middle School PTSA without competition. Saturday Slowdowns are back at RambleRill Farm for the first time in 2023 this weekend. The family friendly event will feature a food truck, trails for the family to walk, and of course animals to visit. Celebrate science this weekend with the Morehead Planetarium and Science Center’s Science Expo. The expo features over 100 hands-on activities led by STEM students and practitioners. There’s another chance to enjoy some live music this weekend at Craftboro Brewing Depot. Have some local brews while you enjoy music. Drop a line at West Point Mill this weekend. They’ll have cane fishing poles for you to check out for the afternoon while you step away from the hustle bustle at West Point on the Eno. Enjoy nature and some old-fashioned fishing this weekend. Come out to 401 Main this Sunday to shop Tripp’s Stores spring collection. Vintage clothes and folk art will be for sale and when you’re done shopping you can enjoy some delicious food and drinks from 401 Main.
