It’s time for a Mindful Minute with Arete Float Tank Studio!

Floating is great for relaxation and recovery, and Arete can’t wait to open our doors again. As we begin to reopen our community and hopefully continue to move forward together, we have a few simple ways to stay centered and calm without leaving home.

Did you know spending time outside is scientifically proven to be good for your health?

Getting outdoors and enjoying the beautiful Spring weather is all-natural immune system support. The oxygen boost you get from being outdoors can help increase your energy levels as well as your mental awareness. Before you brew that afternoon cup of coffee, or crack open a soft drink, try getting some fresh air or sunshine instead!

During a time when we are even more prone to tension and anxiety, fresh air may provide some relief to your bones, joints, and muscles. Getting outside for at least 20 minutes a day can help relax our bodies in the places we carry stress, like our neck, back and shoulders. The all natural aromas from the great outdoors may give your mood a boost if you’ve been in a “funk” recently.

When the weather permits, spend at least few minutes outside every day. Do yourself a favor and open a window at home, go for a socially distant stroll, or roll down your car windows and head out for a drive. Your mind and body will thank you.
