It’s time for another round of Studio Sessions with the School of Rock Chapel Hill, featuring three classic hits performed by the House Band!
This month, two new House Band members make their 97.9 The Hill debuts: drummer Cole Ivester and singer Gianna Whitley, along with returning veterans JJ Helbert, Finn Jackson, Conlan Sharp, and Phillip Webb. School of Rock music director Justin Ellis is also on hand to discuss upcoming shows – including the midseason “Halloween Spooktacular” Sunday, October 29, from noon to 5 p.m. at Cats Cradle.
Listen to their conversation, plus the band’s performances of Led Zeppelin’s “Misty Mountain Hop,” Stevie Nicks’ “Edge of Seventeen,” and the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ “By The Way.”
