With a debut full-length album due out next month, Chase Davenport of Red October joined Aaron this week for Live & Local.

Named for the 80s submarine thriller, Red October launched last year with the postpunk single “Stressed Out” and an EP of the same name. Now, Davenport is ready to release his first full-length LP, “Where Did November Go” (with a title inspired by the commercial transition from Halloween to Christmas merchandising).

The album’s release is a day three decades in the making: Davenport says this has been a personal dream ever since he first held his dad’s bass guitar, all the way back when he was five years old.
