With her EP “You Started A Fire” out today, singer-songwriter Rachel Despard stopped by 97.9 The Hill and played during Live & Local!
Despard’s music blends folk with soul, with lyrics that draw poignant parallels between the personal and the political. She made her debut in 2018 with the single “No Goodbye Now,” but “You Started A Fire” is her first EP.
Despard will be celebrating the release with a show at Cats Cradle on January 14. Faith Jones will open.
