Singer-songwriter Kent Nickerson made our list of the 100 greatest local songs of all time with his debut solo album “Warrior,” released in 2017. Now he’s back with a full band, Brother Kent, and a new EP, “Absent the Glory.”
Describing themselves as “indie-edged Americana with storytelling always at the heart,” Brother Kent unites Nickerson with drummer Chris Russell, bassist Pierre Lefebvre, and guitarist Josh Flenniken. They released “Absent the Glory” this fall, celebrating with a live show at the Station last month.
