Kristin Rogers is Thursday’s Hometown Hero.

Kristin is a social worker at UNC Health Care.  She works in the Horizons Program.

The program works with pregnant women, mothers, and their children who have suffered from substance abuse.  It focuses primarily on sobriety, professionalism, and parenting.

Kristin Rogers always wanted to help people.  She grew up overseas with her parents who were missionaries.
