The Town of Chapel Hill is hosting music car bingo as a safe and socially distant Halloween activity.
Music car bingo will take place on Thursday, October 22 at 6 p.m. in the parking lot at Homestead Park. Participants will play 10 rounds and the town’s DJ will play some of the most popular Halloween-themed songs.
Each car will receive 20 scorecards (2 cards per round). Rounds will consist of the DJ playing songs that are either popular Halloween songs or trending songs. Participants will then search for either the song’s title or artist on their scorecard and cover it up if they have it.
Once someone reaches the designated goal for the round, they are the winner.
Participants are encouraged to arrive at 5:30 p.m. in order to get a parking spot, grab cards and supplies, and get situated before the event begins at 6.
Chapel Hill is also hosting “Zombie Survival Training” on Friday, October 23. Here’s the description of the event:
Prepare yourself for the dawn of the dead! You’ll be taught everything you need to know to survive the zombie apocalypse, from building fires to making shelters. We’ll even learn some basic first aid in case of zombie bites. All equipment and materials will be provided, but you need to water bottle/hydration pack.
“Zombie Survival Training” will take place from 4:30 to 8:30 p.m. at Ephesus Park in Chapel Hill.
More information regarding music car bingo can be found on the Town of Chapel Hill’s website.
