This week’s Adopt-A-Pet, presented by Houndswood Village, is Brie from Cat Tales Cat Cafe!
Brie is an adorable 2 year old female cat with really interesting coloring. She is a mix of tabby and calico, and that combination of coloring is known as ‘tabico’. She is a grey tabby with beautiful black stripes and some really cool specs of orange mixed in.
Brie is what we call at Cat Tales a ‘Baby Mama’. This means she is a young female who has already had kittens at a very young age, and basically missed out on her own kittenhood. She raised her 4 cute babies (also coming to Cat Tales once they are older!) got her spay surgery, and has now rediscovered her youth! We have a special place in our hearts for the Baby Mamas, and it’s so fun to watch these cats turn back into kittens, now that their mama duties are over forever!
Brie is a very spunky, chatty girl. She likes to be involved in everything you are doing. She will follow you around and yell at you when she wants attention. Then she rolls around on the floor showing off for you. She would be a wonderful companion for a home with lots of love and attention to give. She loves to play! She does great with the other cats, and would likely do fine with a nice dog sibling. She would be a fun cat in a house with kids and lots of activity!
To meet Brie, please reserve an appointment at Cat Tales on our website, www.cattalescatcafe.com We adore Brie and would love for her to find her Purrfect Purrson!
Adopt-A-Pet is presented by the Houndswood Village apartments in Durham, where you can live with your furry friends in three or four-bedroom, energy-efficient townhomes. Visit Houndswood Village’s website to learn more about their location and get started on an application today.
