It’s time for another round of Studio Sessions with the School of Rock Chapel Hill, featuring three classic songs performed by the House Band!

This month, Aaron welcomes three members of the House Band: Cole Ivester, Finn Jackson, and Kate Stokes. They’ve just returned from their annual summer tour, which took them to Denver as well as Asheville. In both locations, the band joined forces with other School of Rock students and played several live shows – and in Denver, they had a chance to record several songs at Rocky MTN Recorders.

 

Owner/GM David Joseph is also on hand to reflect on the tour and look ahead to upcoming events – including a School of Rock AllStars show Thursday, July 24, at Cats Cradle.

This edition of Studio Sessions is also the final one for Ivester, who’s graduating – so he took the opportunity to reflect on his overall experience with School of Rock.
