Local musician Chessa Rich stopped by to promote this month’s Sleepy Fest and play a song off her new album “Deeper Sleeper.”

This year’s second annual Sleepy Fest will take place Saturday, October 28, from noon to 10 p.m. at Down Yonder Farm northeast of Hillsborough. The event will feature performances from many of the artists on the Sleepy Cat Records label, including Dante High, Kamara Thomas, Nightblooms, and many more – along with Rich, whose new album has been a highlight of the local music scene in 2023.
