The END Fund is a global organization devoted to ending “neglected tropical diseases” (NTDs), which affect 1.5 billion people each year. CEO Ellen Agler (a Chapel Hill resident) has just written a new book, “Under the Big Tree,” documenting some of the most inspiring stories in the fight.
