For the next two weeks, Bulldog Ensemble Theater is staging Stephen Sachs’ play “Fatherland,” based on the true story of a son whose father turns violent after getting caught up in political conspiracy theories. (Much of the play’s dialogue is taken directly from courtroom transcripts; the trial in question was one of the first January 6-related prosecutions in the U.S.) Bulldog’s production opens Thursday, January 22, and runs through Sunday, February 1, at the Mettlesome Theater on Taylor Street in Durham.

Visit BulldogDurham.org for tickets and more information.

Aaron welcomes director Marshall Botvinick for a conversation about “Fatherland.”
