In today’s news, the Carrboro Town Council decides to remove hazardous tree from private property, resulting in the closure of part of Rosemary Street today. Also: a pedestrian was struck by an impaired driver in Hillsborough; Orange county sets a record for increase in visitor spending; and CHCCS reiterates their safety policy to the school community. In sports, the UNC football team is 3-0 after defeating NC Central, but they now have a developing quarterback controversy.
