The fourth-ranked UNC women’s tennis team got another shutout victory over an Atlantic Coast Conference opponent on Thursday afternoon.

The Tar Heels recorded the second-straight 7-0 shutout with No. 41 Syracuse serving as Thursday’s victim.

The doubles point quickly belonged to Carolina with wins from the pairings of senior Ashley Dai and freshman Chloe Ouellet-Pizer followed by the top-ranked doubles team in the country – Hayley Carter and Whitney Kay – knocking off the Syracuse counterpart.

The Tar Heels then cruised through the singles matches on the road to victory.

UNC will host No. 42 Notre Dame at 11 o’clock Saturday morning.
