A water shortage that led Chapel Hill and Carrboro to declare States of Emergency on Friday has forced the UNC-Notre Dame men’s basketball game scheduled for Chapel Hill on Saturday to be moved.

The game will now be played at one o’clock Sunday afternoon in the Greensboro Coliseum, according to UNC.

The water shortage forced UNC to close the campus early Friday afternoon.

UNC officials say tickets for Saturday’s game will be honored on Sunday. Ticketholders with lower-level seats in the Smith Center having access to the lower bowl of the Greensboro Coliseum, and those with upper-level seats will have access to the coliseum’s upper level. Student tickets will be honored.

Officials say no parking passes will be honored.

The game will be televised on ESPN News and coverage will be provided on WCHL and the other affiliates of the Tar Heel Sports Network.
