UNC announced Tuesday that it will host the school’s first ever Sports and Entertainment Summit on Oct. 12 and 13, bringing together more than 20 alumni with prominent roles in the world of entertainment.
The alumni are slated to speak about their industries, career paths and the importance of innovation and change.
Jim Delany, a Tar Heel graduate who is now the commissioner of the Big Ten Conference, is the event’s keynote speaker.
As currently scheduled, the first day of the summit will be held at the Blue Zone in Kenan Stadium. The second day of the event will be held at the Stone Center Auditorium.
Tickets cost $60 for each day.
