UNC freshman Aranza Vazquez had quite the debut for the Tar Heel diving team this past weekend at the Auburn Invitational, winning all three events she competed in.

Vazquez won the 1-meter event with a score of 322.40, which was good enough for the third-highest score in UNC history. In the three-meter event, her score of 347.10 was the fifth-best on the school’s all-time list.

She also won the platform event on Saturday with a score of 282.75 to complete her outstanding debut performance.

The Tar Heels also had the second-place finisher, Emily Grund, in both the 1-meter and platform diving events.
