Despite the poor record from both teams, UNC vs. Duke is still the best rivalry in college basketball.
The Tar Heels (11-6, 6-4 ACC) look to rebound tonight after suffering a dismal loss to Clemson earlier this week. Meanwhile, Duke (7-6, 5-4 ACC) is coming off of a defeat to Miami as well.
Will this be the best iteration of the Carolina-Duke rivalry? No, probably not. No fans will be in attendance at Cameron Indoor Stadium tonight and both teams have played sloppy so far this season.
But it’s Carolina vs. Duke. It’s Roy Williams vs. Mike Krzyzewski. It’s Carolina blue versus Duke blue. It’s the best rivalry in the nation, separated only by eight miles between the schools.
You know you want to tune in.
