Track and Field: Daniel McArthur Named ACC Co-Performer of the Week

UNC senior Daniel McArthur was one of six athletes chosen as ACC Male Track and Field Performers of the Week on Wednesday, after setting a new school record in the shot put this past weekend at the Virginia Tech Invitational.

McArthur surpassed his own record with a throw of 20.35 meters, moving him from fourth to second place nationally in the event.

Last season saw McArthur take home the 2019 ACC Indoor title in the shot put, while his performance this year suggests he could be on the way to repeating that achievement.
