UNC and Duke face off for the first time this season on Wednesday in another edition of college basketball’s greatest rivalry.
If you want to watch Zion Williamson and the No. 1 Blue Devils play host to Roy Williams’ No. 8 Tar Heels in Cameron Indoor Stadium, you better be willing to forego rent for the next few months because ticket prices are through the ceiling (which is also the roof).
At the time of writing, the cheapest ticket prices to get into Cameron Indoor Stadium cost several thousand dollars. SeatGeek’s lowest price sits at $3,826, Stubhub has tickets available for $3,166 and Ticket City has a single ticket available for $3,660.
To put those numbers in perspective, tickets for this year’s Super Bowl between the New England Patriots and Los Angeles Rams in Atlanta cost around $4,657.
Tickets to the 2018 NBA Finals between the Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors had a general price range of several hundred dollars a piece while tickets to the World Cup Final between France and Croatia were also similarly priced at $455 for the cheapest method.
If you aren’t willing to spend several thousand on tickets (or you aren’t a former president), 97.9 The Hill WCHL will be broadcasting the full UNC vs. Duke game on 97.9 FM/1360 AM (also streaming online) with an hour of pre and post-game coverage.

Chansky's Notebook: And Did I Mention…It was almost as if the Tar Heels knew that Duke lost. Those who could follow both the Duke-Virginia Tech and Syracuse-Carolina games saw the Blue Devils’ 77-72 loss to the Hokies end at almost the exact time the Tar Heels were tipping off against the Orange. Of course, it didn’t happen this way, but I could […]

Chansky's Notebook: The Other Shoe? When Zion’s shoe blew apart, college and pro basketball blew up. Three things happened after Duke’s lopsided loss to Carolina in Cameron Wednesday night, two of them captured on video.
