The UNC football program revealed Tuesday night the NFL Network will be broadcasting live from the team’s official pro day on Monday, March 29.
Former Carolina Panthers star receiver Steve Smith Sr. will be among those in attendance working for the network, as pro teams look to get more insight on the Tar Heels making the jump to the next level.
Running backs Javonte Williams and Michael Carter — as well as linebacker Chazz Surratt — highlight UNC’s draft-eligible prospects, with speedy receivers Dyami Brown and Dazz Newsome also expected to be drafted. Carter and Surratt were most recently in action during the 2021 Reese’s Senior Bowl, where Carter broke off for 60 yards and a touchdown for his team.
The NFL Draft is set to take place this year in Cleveland from April 29 through May 1.
