A pair of Tar Heels were selected Monday night in the Premier Lacrosse League’s 2021 Draft, as midfielders Tanner Cook and Justin Anderson each found their new professional homes.

Cook was taken 15th overall by the Chaos Lacrosse Club, while Anderson was selected 20th overall by the Chrome Lacrosse Club.

There were a total of four rounds and 32 picks in the draft.

The PLL also has an interesting format where no team belongs to any one city, as the league instead tours 12 different “major market” cities throughout the season.

Cook ranks third on the team at UNC this season with 22 goals and nine assists, earning midseason First Team All-American honors from Inside Lacrosse. Anderson, meanwhile, has 18 goals and six assists and was a midseason honorable mention All-American.
