This year’s Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl Challenge Charity Golf Tournament will feature a pair of UNC Hall-of-Famers joining together to take on 12 other teams from other schools as they compete for a share of the $650,000 scholarship and charity purse.
New head football coach Mack Brown will have men’s basketball head coach–and well-documented golf enthusiast–Roy Williams by his side at Reynolds Lake Oconee resort outside Atlanta for the event, which runs from April 28-30.
The event features pairings including the head football coach from each school alongside a celebrity alumnus, which is the status Williams is using to earn his spot alongside Brown.
Proceeds from the event benefit endowed scholarships at the participating universities and charitable foundations selected by the coaches.
