UNC senior defensive lineman Jason Strowbridge was among 24 players selected Thursday to participate in this year’s State Farm All-Star Football Challenge, a skills competition set to take place on Jan. 31.
The 24 players will be divided into teams of four based on their conference affiliation, with the four best players outside the Power Five conferences forming the “Wild Card” team. Each player will individually complete a timed event, then the competition will move on to a full team event.
Strowbridge was a Third Team All-ACC selection in 2019 after posting a career-high 45 tackles to go along with 6.5 tackles for loss, three sacks and two blocked field goals. He is expected to be taken at some point during the 2020 NFL Draft.
