The ACC announced Monday that the men’s basketball game on Saturday between UNC and No. 19 Clemson at the Smith Center will tip off at 7 p.m.
UNC will be seeking to start a new home winning streak over Clemson, which ended an incredible 59-game drought in Chapel Hill with a win over the Tar Heels last season.
This will also be the first time ever that a ranked Clemson team faces an unranked UNC team in Chapel Hill, and just the second time that has been the case at any location–with the first being a 69-61 loss by the Tar Heels at No. 23 Clemson back in 1990.
The Tar Heels are currently 6-4 this season with a 1-2 mark in ACC play. They will have a game at Miami on Tuesday prior to this matchup.
Clemson boasts an 8-1 record to this point with a 2-1 record in conference play. The Tigers will host NC State on Tuesday.
