UNC basketball faces a tough test in the ACC Tournament as the 14th (and lowest) seed in the tourney.

After an opening round win over Virginia Tech, the Tar Heels face off against No. 6 Syracuse on Wednesday. UNC last faced off against Syracuse on February 29 — winning 92-79 in New York.

Tip-Off Time

Tip-off is scheduled for 9:00 p.m. from Greensboro, North Carolina.

Broadcast Schedule

97.9 The Hill will only broadcast the North Carolina games in the ACC Tournament, not the tournament in its entirety like in previous years.

Our coverage of UNC vs. Virginia Tech begins at 8 p.m. with the Tar Heel Sports Network Pregame Show.

You can find our broadcast of the game on 97.9 FM and 1360 AM or streaming online on Chapelboro.com.

TV Schedule

The game will be broadcast on ESPN2. As of today, Spectrum, Dish, AT&T U-Verse and DirectTV all carry ESPN and the ACC Network.

What if I don’t have cable?

A live stream will not be available ESPN’s digital platforms through the ACC Network, but plenty of other UNC basketball games this season will be available for online streaming.

Additionally, several cord-cutting options carry ESPN and the new ACC Network.

YouTube TV prices at $50/month and carries all of ESPN’s channels (ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, etc.) as well as the ACC Network. YouTube TV does not offer NFL Network or NFL Red Zone for pro sports fans.

Hulu TV goes for $45/month and includes all ESPN channels, but does not carry MLB Network, NBA TV, NFL Network or NFL Red Zone.

Sling TV is the cheapest at $25/month, but includes the fewest channels. Make sure to avoid Sling Blue, as that package does not carry ESPN.
