A two-run double in the bottom of the seventh inning on Tuesday at Boshamer Stadium from UNC junior infielder Ashton McGee led the Tar Heels to a come-from-behind 2-1 victory over the North Carolina A&T Aggies.

The Tar Heels had a total of just three hits in the game, but managed to improve to 4-0 in 2019 after McGee’s late heroics–and extended their home winning streak to 22 games.

It was the least amount of runs UNC has scored in a win since defeating North Carolina A&T last year by a score of 1-0.

Sophomore left-hander Caden O’Brien earned the win on the mound with 3.2 innings of relief out of the bullpen.
