The UNC men’s basketball team will make their first road trip of the young season Tuesday night, as the Tar Heels will visit College of Charleston in a true road matchup. Carolina won against the Cougars in Chapel Hill last season, but their road game in Charleston ended in a loss, all the way back in January 2010. College of Charleston traditionally plays the Tar Heels well, with five of eight matchups being decided by 10 points or fewer. The Cougars are 3-5 all-time against UNC.
If you aren’t making the trip south with the team, here’s how you can follow along at home:
Broadcast Schedule
Those hoping to listen on the radio can do so at 97.9 FM and 1360 AM, or by streaming the radio broadcast on Chapelboro.com.
97.9 The Hill’s radio coverage of the game will begin at 7 p.m. with Countdown to Tip-Off With Brighton McConnell.
At 7:30 p.m., the broadcast will shift over to Jones Angell and the Tar Heel Sports Network for their pregame coverage until tip-off. They will also carry postgame coverage for approximately an hour after the conclusion of the game.
All of these broadcasts will be available live on the radio or by streaming on Chapelboro.com.
TV Schedule
The game will be broadcast on CBS Sports Network. Television coverage starts at 8:30 p.m.
What if I don’t have cable?
A live stream will be available on CBS’s online platforms. You must enter your television provider for access. Additionally, several cord-cutting options carry CBS Sports Network.
The cheapest options are YouTube TV, Hulu TV and Fubo TV, which are all $65/month and carry CBS Sports Network. DirecTV STREAM also carries CBS Sports Network, but only on its Ultimate package, which costs $95/month. Unfortunately, cheaper options like Sling TV don’t carry CBS Sports Network.
