It’s not uncommon to see UNC’s Armando Bacot featured on national television. What is uncommon is to see him featured on one of the most popular game shows in America: ‘Jeopardy!’

On the Thursday, February 29 edition of the show, a category was devoted to Name, Image and Likeness clues. One of the clues was about Bacot.

The answer (or question) to the clue is, of course, “Outer Banks,” which featured Bacot in a cameo role in its third season. Two of the show’s creators are UNC alumni, and Bacot is a fan of the show, leading to a quick friendship.

Unlike his previous four seasons, Bacot and the Tar Heels’ NCAA Tournament hopes aren’t in “jeopardy” as the calendar turns to March. Carolina is seen as a tournament lock and a potential No. 1 seed. The Tar Heels will look to strengthen their resume even more when they host NC State at the Smith Center on Saturday at 4 p.m.
