The complete 2023-24 non-conference schedule is set for the UNC men’s basketball program, and it includes several familiar faces.

Carolina will begin with an exhibition game in Chapel Hill against St. Augustine’s, an HBCU from Raleigh. That game is scheduled for October 27 at 7:30 p.m.

The regular season will officially get underway on November 6 against Radford in the Smith Center. Home games against Lehigh and UC-Riverside will follow before the Tar Heels head to the Bahamas for the Battle 4 Atlantis tournament over the Thanksgiving holiday. Carolina will open against Northern Iowa on November 22 at noon, with the winner facing either Villanova or Texas Tech the next day. Should Carolina advance to the championship on Friday, the Tar Heels would face either Arkansas, Memphis, Michigan or Stanford.

UNC will then return home to host Tennessee as part of the ACC-SEC Challenge on November 29 at 7:15 p.m. Its next three games are all at neutral sites: the Jimmy V Classic against defending national champions UConn on December 5 in New York, the CBS Sports Classic against Kentucky on December 16 in Atlanta and the Jumpman Invitational against Oklahoma on December 20 in Charlotte. Carolina will finally return home against Charleston Southern on December 29 for the non-conference finale.
