The UNC men’s basketball team will host an exhibition against Johnson C. Smith in the Dean Smith Center on Sunday, October 27. Tip-off is scheduled for 2 p.m.

This will be the second time in the last three seasons in which the Tar Heels and Golden Bulls will face off in a preseason exhibition. The two teams met prior to the 2022-23 season as well, with Carolina winning 101-40. The series is a personal one for UNC head coach Hubert Davis, whose mother and father met on the Johnson C. Smith campus. His father also played basketball for the Golden Bulls.

Ticket information will be made available to the public in October. For those unable to come in person, ACC Network Extra will broadcast the game.

The exhibition will take place eight days before Carolina officially opens the 2024-25 season against Elon in the Smith Center on November 4. For a complete look at the Tar Heels’ non-conference schedule, click here.
