The UNC field hockey program has announced its 2025 regular-season schedule. The Tar Heels are looking to reach at least the NCAA semifinals for the fourth consecutive season.

The season begins with four consecutive games away from Chapel Hill, as UNC will travel to Iowa City, IA to face both Michigan (August 29) and Iowa (August 31) in the ACC-Big Ten Challenge. The following weekend, the Tar Heels will be in Princeton, N.J. as part of the ACC-Ivy League Conference Crossover for games against Penn (September 5) and Princeton (September 7).

UNC will host Appalachian State for its home opener at Karen Shelton Stadium at 6 p.m. on September 12. That game is the first of a four-game homestand for the Tar Heels, as Liberty (September 14), Cal (September 19) and Stanford (September 21) will all visit Chapel Hill.

Other notable games include visits to Boston College (September 28), Virginia (October 10) and Syracuse (October 17), as well as home dates against Louisville (October 12) and Richmond (October 24). The regular-season finale sees Carolina host rival Duke on Halloween night, October 31.

The ACC Tournament, which UNC has won eight consecutive times, will be contested November 4-7 in Louisville. The NCAA Tournament begins November 14. The Final Four and national title game will be played on the Duke campus in Durham.
