Former UNC standout–and 2017 ACC Player of the Year–Justin Jackson hosted a Call of Duty tournament on Thursday pitting former Tar Heels against players representing Duke, Villanova and Kentucky.
Seth Curry’s team of former Blue Devils ultimately took home the victory in the finals, with Grayson Allen being named the MVP for his performance in the massively popular shooting game.
The tournament was dubbed the “Battle of the Blues” and was used to raise money for the fight against the coronavirus pandemic–ultimately raising over $6,000.
UNC was represented by Jackson, Marcus Paige, Brice Johnson, Brandon Robinson and professional gamer Clayster.
Curry and Allen were joined by Tre Jones, Cam Reddish and professional gamer Methodz in representing Duke.
Villanova was captained by Jalen Brunson, who had the help of Donte DiVincenzo, Eric Paschall, Josh Hart and pro gamer Crimsix.
Kentucky, meanwhile, was led by DeAaron Fox. Joining him were Tyrese Maxey and incoming recruits Terrence Clark and Isaiah Jackson–along with professional gamer Zeno.
