In light of the situation on campus at UNC, the first 2023 installment of the “Mack Brown Live” radio show, originally scheduled for Monday evening, has been cancelled. The show will instead hold its season premiere on Monday, September 4. Jones Angell, who hosts the show, shared the news on social media on Monday afternoon.

Instead of “Mack Brown Live,” 97.9 The Hill will play music from 7 p.m. to midnight.

For Carolina fans who wish to hear from the UNC football coach ahead of the season opener, Brown did speak with 97.9 The Hill’s Aaron Keck for the first edition of “Mondays with Mack” for the 2023 season. Listen back to their conversation from Monday morning here.
