Chapel Hill Carrboro City Schools Chief Communications Officer Andy Jenks spoke with 97.9 The Hill’s Andrew Stuckey and Aaron Keck on Monday, August 28th.  He discussed the district’s reaction to the active assailant incident on UNC’s campus on Monday afternoon. He outlined the reasons the district went on “secure status” and what that meant for students and families. He also discussed what the next steps for the district will be tomorrow and this week.
