This month, 97.9 The Hill’s Aaron Keck was joined by Lisa Kaylie, Executive Director of Extraordinary Ventures! Extraordinary Ventures is a non-profit that operates six business with a neurodiverse workforce, and has provided meaningful employment to many individuals with I/DD and Autism.
Over the past 15 years, Extraordinary Ventures and its employees have been a vital part of our local economy and community.
“I would just say the best way to support [Extraordinary Ventures] is to check out our businesses,” said Kaylie. “We love to have people come by — and anybody who’s interested in hiring adults themselves and feels like they don’t know how to go about it, please give us a call. I’m always happy to share our knowledge and encourage the greater employment of this often overlooked workforce. There’s really some amazing people out there looking for jobs.”
