‘Tis the season, and Chapel Hill Tire invites you to Be Kind, Get Votes and Earn a Donation for your Favorite Charity with is 12 Days of Kindness campaign.

Through December 24, perform an act of kindness and record it with video or photos; post your act to Twitter, Instagram, or to the Chape Hill Tire Facebook page with the hashtag #cht12days.

Marc Pons, president of Chapel Hill Tire said, “2020 has been a tough year. I think everybody can agree to that. Let’s end 2020 on a good note by inspiring random acts of kindness in our community. So get a friend, get a neighbor, get a coworker and go do something kind for someone.”

These acts of kindness are being published at 12days.chapelhilltire.com, and from December 13 through December 24, you can vote for your favorites.

After Christmas, Chapel Hill Tire will make a $3,000 donation to the favorite charity of the post that gets most votes, a $2,000 donation for the second most votes, and a $1,000 donation for third place.

“We always do something this time of year,” Pons said. “It used to be the 12 days of Christmas. And just to end this year, we need kindness. We know we need kindness, so let’s go do it. And so that was really the inspiration of it — let’s go out and do some acts of kindness.

“I just looked at a picture of my friend, who took supplies to the Ronald McDonald house in Chapel Hill. And there’s a little girl who just got there with cancer. And one of the things they happened to drop off was unicorn slippers. And I just got a photo from the house with this little girl, she loves her unicorn slippers and she won’t take them off. And it’s those kinds of acts of kindness we talked about.”
