WCHL Community Leaders Lunch

There’s a tradition at WCHL that goes back decades and decades. Once a month, Ron Stutts invites a group of local folks in for a relaxed lunch and discussion about what’s happening in our community. It’s a great way to get to know each other! This month included Fred Black, Nerys Levy, Anthony Wellman, Lew Margolis and Mary Lawrence. They have a lively conversation abut the issues impacting Chapel Hill, Carrboro and Orange County. Sometimes they learn about current events and often, they’re able to bring problems to light for our listeners to consider. Ron says it’s one of the most important things we do! and it’s another way we demonstrate that 97.9 FM and 1360 AM WCHL is YOUR radio station!
