In a joint meeting on September 29 with Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools and Orange County schools, the groups requested alternative funding and the hiring of a private consultant to continue development.
After winning the municipal elections for Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools Board of Education in November, George Griffin, Riza Jenkins and Mike Sharp were sworn into office at last week’s meeting. The CHCCS Board also elected a new chair and vice chair.
Last night Riza Jenkins, Mike Sharp and George Griffin got elected to the Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools Board of Education. They spent much of the campaign working together and that didn’t change on election night.
