North Carolina House Minority Leader and Chatham County Representative Robert Reives spoke with 97.9 The Hill’s Andrew Stuckey on Wednesday, March 13. He urged voters to get involved in campaigns, not to just wait to vote in November. Chair of the Orange County Commissioners Jamezetta Bedford spoke with 97.9 The Hill’s Andrew Stuckey on Wednesday, March 13. She discussed the Orange County Emergency Services Awards and promotions from Wednesday morning. She also discussed the board of commissioners most recent meeting, where there heard updates from several advisory boards and commissions. She also gave an update on the Lumos broadband Internet rollout, the budget for the upcoming runoff election for Orange County School Board, and more.

North Carolina Sports Journalist and author of “Holding Court” on Chapelboro.com David Glenn spoke with 97.9 The Hill’s Andrew Stuckey on Wednesday, March 13.  He discussed the scene in Washington, D.C. for the ACC Tournament. He also broke down Florida State’s victory against Virginia Tech, setting up a quarterfinal matchup between FSU and UNC at noon on Thursday. He also discussed the next round of the ACC Tournament, an “NCAA Play-In Game” for Wake Forest and Pitt, and more. David Glenn will join News on The Hill for another ACC Tournament update on Friday’s edition of the show.
