As Nurse Appreciation Week continues, UNC Health employees received surprise messages this week from popular North Carolina-based musicians and artists.
UNC Health and Deep South Entertainment partnered to gather video messages of thanks and encouragement from more than 20 musicians who live in the state. Some of the musicians include country artists Eric Church, Scotty McCreery and Chase Rice, as well as members of bands The Avett Brothers, Chatham County Line and Lit.
A release from UNC Health said Dave Rose of Deep South Entertainment largely gathered the videos.
“We have incredible talent from North Carolina who care about North Carolina, and we have incredible health workers who deserve all the encouragement and support we can give them,” Rose said in a statement. “These musicians get so many requests to contribute to so many causes. The fact that they all jumped in to offer words of encouragement is very inspiring.”
All the video message can be viewed on a web page created by Deep South Entertainment.
