A worker on the construction site of the Carolina Square development on Franklin Street in Chapel Hill fell approximately 29 feet on Thursday morning, Chapel Hill Police spokesman Ran Northam told WCHL.
Northam said that Chapel Hill Fire crews were dispatched to the site to assist Orange County EMS and that the scene had already been cleared.
The worker was transported for treatment of injuries but the severity of those injuries was unknown as of 11:30 Thursday morning.
