Cash 5 is one of six lottery games in North Carolina where players can either buy tickets at a retail location or online as Oliver did. Online tickets can be bought through the lottery’s website or with the North Carolina Lottery app. Friday’s jackpot currently sits at $120,000.
Ticket sales for Cash 5 and other games raised more than $1 billion for education in the state of North Carolina, with nearly $8 million of that going to programs in Orange County.
